About Me

I am a PhD student in French. I hold a B.A from Makerere University (Uganda) and an M.A in Applied Linguistics from the University of Alberta. My research focuses mainly on Second Language Acquisition and Applied Linguistics with specific interest in Discourse Analysis. My supervisor is Dr. Ozouf Amedegnato. I speak Luganda, English, French, a little bit of German and Swahili. I chose the University of Calgary because of the learning resources and the conducive academic environment. I love listening to music, watching movies, traveling and poetry. I enjoyed reading Les bouts de bois de Dieu by Ousmane Sembène. My favorite movie is The Ultimate Gift.
