Book Launch Event for Division of French and Francophone Studies, faculty member Dr. Marie-Andrée Bergeron

Dr. Marie-Andrée Bergeron is an assistant professor from the Division of French and Francophone studies within the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures since 2015. She specializes in Quebec literature, feminist literature and women’s literature history. Her last book, Le dictionnaire des intellectuel.les au Québec was published in March 2017 at Les presses de l’Université de Montréal (co-editors : Yvan Lamonde, Jonathan Livernois and Michel Lacroix). This book is the second part of a three year project about Quebec intellectual history, in which the first part, Les intellectuel.les au Québec was published in 2015 (Del Busso éditeur, Mtl).
Her first book, Les mots de désordre, was published in 2012 (Éditions du remue-ménage, Mtl). She published in many Québec reviews such as Globe and Liberté. Dr. Bergeron is also co-publisher of  « Prémices » (Nota Bene, Mtl), an academic book collection that she created with Julien Lefort-Favreau.
