The Return of Interlingua

On-line journal returns with a call for submissions.
Deadline extended to June 15, 2019.

Graduate students of the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures are proud to announce the reintroduction of the online journal Interlingua. The journal is named after the international auxiliary language which strives to be easily comprehensible by the widest possible range of speakers and aims to introduce graduate and undergraduate students to the process of academic writing and publishing. Students will have the opportunity to improve their academic skills by publishing their own work. It is hoped that the journal will also facilitate cross-fertilization of disciplines and ideas and contribute to increased multi-disciplinary collaboration in the future.

Topics may range from literature to applied linguistics to creative writing. The journal is also proud to have followed the expansion of the School and therefore welcomes languages such as German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese.

The students are also pleased to announce the launch of Interlingua's new website.
