Contest Call for the 27th Alberta District Japanese Language Speech Contest

Contest Call for the 27th Alberta District Japanese Language Speech Contest  |  Saturday, March 3, 2018

スピーチコンテスト学内選抜要項 (Speech Contest Internal Selection)

The next Alberta District Japanese Speech Contest will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the University of Calgary.  Every year, many students from the University of Calgary have entered the Alberta district contest and received prizes.  Some of the first-place winners have even proceeded to the National contest and returned with very proud results.
Today, the Japanese program would like to announce the opening of the competition for the 2018 Japanese Speech Contest.  It involves a lot of commitment (time and effort) to prepare for the contest, however we believe that this challenge will strengthen competitors'  life skills such as time-management, and confidence in public speaking as well as Japanese language skills. We are certain that the achievement gained from this journey is tremendous!
We look forward to seeing the interest this contest generates once again this year, and also, to meeting the incredible participants.
