Please join the School in congratulating Allison Bajt (graduate student in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in German). Allison was recently awarded a Students’ Union Teaching Excellence Award. Congratulations to Allison on earning this remarkably competitive recognition.

The Students' Union received 1,146 nominations from students. The Awards Committee then shortlisted nominees and conducted more than 100 class visits in the fall and winter to collect written feedback. Winners were then decided after the committee considered just over 2,000 evaluation forms.

Allison and other SU Teaching Excellence Award recipients received an Apple Award and a framed certificate, and in addition the SU made a $5,000 donation in recognition of the winners to the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning.

Congratulations again, Allison, for the impressive and surely lasting impact you’ve had on students!
