Postgraduate Research Supervision

I am interested in directing PhD and Master's dissertations devoted to Latin American cinemas, mainly, but not restricted to transnationalism and diaspora studies, gender and ethnicity studies, the analysis of material culture, space, modes of representation, aesthetics and auterism, performance and celebrity studies, among others.  I would also like to work wih students interested in doing research on popular culture, cultural studies, as well as on Latin American contemporary literature.
