Profile

Dr. Kyumin Kim is a currently SSHRC post-doctoral fellow and she completed her Ph.D. in the Linguistics Departement at the University of Toronto in 2011. Her current research interests include argument structure and its interaction with morphology and semantics. In particular, she is currently looking at argument structure of psych-predicates and ditransitives in Korean and Japanese. Also, she is doing field research on Blackfoot in issues related to argument structure. She has previously worked on causatives, passives, applicatives, and inchoatives in various languages, Korean, Japanese, English and Georgian. Some of the result of this research can be found in her dissertation and in some articles published in several journals.
