About Me

I was born in the Oti Region (Ghana) but I grew up and attended part of my basic school in the Republic of Togo where French is official language. Thus, I developed a keen interest for French language since my childhood. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree- French and History (Combined Major)-2014 and a Master of Philosophy Degree in  Linguistics - French (2019) from University of Ghana, Legon in Ghana. My quest to broaden my knowledge for my future academic and professional aspirations coupled with the good reputation of the school in terms of research, teaching, and professional training, I have decided to apply for a PhD program in Applied Linguistics (French) at the school of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures. Fortunately, I have been offered the admission with funding effective Winter term 2023.

My potential research interests include Grammar (morphology, syntax, semantic), Languages in contact, Didactics of French as a Foreign Language, French for Specific Purposes and Sociolinguistics. I Speak: English, French, Twi,  Ewe, Adele and Gikyode. I listen to cool music. I love reading and writing articles.
