About Me

I am a PhD student at the University of Calgary, Canada with the school of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures offering Applied Linguistics (French). My admission came along with a funding effective 2022-2023 Fall Academic year. I am an alumni of University of Cape Coast and Université Joseph Ki – Zerbo. My M.Phil thesis done at Université Joseph Ki – Zerbo mainly focused on error analysis and mistakes Ghanaian students make when writing essays. I speak English, French, Hausa and a couple of Ghanaian languages. My love for languages and the need to see others speak French dived me into the teaching of French in Ghana. My favourite books were Harry potter series, Mills and Boom, Harlequin Romance, you name it. However, I am interested in books on phonology and the typology of languages. Hoping to explore more on the study of languages, their classification, and arrangement. During my leisure time, I love to blog, swim and sing.
