Relocating Identities in Latin American Cultures.

Abstract

With contributions from preeminent scholars in Latin American cultural studies, this collection demonstrates the pervasive effects of globalization on the Latin American cultural scene through the creative expressions of its playwrights, novelists, essayists, and filmmakers. Many of the authors included in this collection have experienced first-hand the difficult process of relocation and adaptation, and are thus able to offer unique perspectives on identity, language, and culture.
