About Me

I am enrolled in the doctoral program in French. My research focuses on German philosophy (especially Nietzsche) and French literature of the nineteenth century. I am supervised by Dr. Anthony Wall.
I am very fortunate to have received Queen Elizabeth II scholarships. I love reading novels, swimming and traveling. My favorite novel is Germinal by Emile Zola, and my favorite movie is Lord of the Rings. I speak Wolof, French, English, and possess a working knowledge of German and Spanish. I decided to study at the University of Calgary because I love the city of Calgary.
