This course will provide students with a solid introduction to French through extensive practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Emphasis will be on developing the student's communicative competence in preparation for further study. The course is based on the text "Chez Nous": each lesson has varied core material, cultural notes, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation exercises. The course will cover Chapters 1 - 5.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
